“The true social entrepreneurs are ghosts that never claim the glory for themselves, that work for their goal like their lives depend on it, because actually, their lives do depend on it. They don’t work to be counted. You don’t find them in congresses, seminars and forums. They don’t read literature about social entrepreneurship; they don’t study it. They just are social entrepreneurs because they need to be. They live for it and by it.”

A paradox from Tulsa; Now living in New Orleans since the turn of the millennium, I am searching for a purpose in this post apocalyptic town.
This search has placed me as Senior Program Analyst, managing and supporting the performance and programmatic objectives of Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI) through the Division of Information Services. LPHI creates and fosters collaborative endeavors in the areas of health information, public policy, applied research, and community capacity enhancement. Dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the people of Louisiana through public-private partnerships, LPHI also serves as a fiscal agent and brokers creative partnerships.
Attending Tulane University for Biomedical Engineering, I served as Secretary in 2002 and President in 2003 of Tulane University Vietnamese Association (TUVA). Now as an engaged citizen of New Orleans, I actively invest time and resources in: Net Squared New Orleans, a way for leaders in technology to connect with social movements; Deltree, a New Orleans-based film and creative studio. I am Infrastructure Chair for Social Entrepreneurs of New Orleans (SENO), a non-profit committed to harnessing the power of local diversity and the new participatory mentality to launch the problem-solver into action, and a board member for Vietnamese American Young Leaders Association of New Orleans (VAYLA-NO), a youth-led, youth organizing and development, community-based organization in New Orleans dedicated to the empowerment of Vietnamese American and underrepresented youth through services, cultural enrichment, and social change.
